About The Event
The Withers Collection Museum and Gallery will host an exhibition of the fine art works of local artist, Mary Lola Scott, August 15 through September 15, 2019.
Mary Scott enjoys the challenge of trying new techniques in her art. One of her strengths is working very quickly so after experimenting with painting with fast drying nail polish she found that she could get effects not possible with other mediums.
The opening reception for the exhibition will be Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 6:00pm.
ABOUT MARY SCOTT
Mary Lola Scott, an artist from Horn Lake, Ms has enjoyed drawing and painting since her youth. In her 20's she was trained as a portrait artist and soon added murals and other commissioned as requests came. She has always enjoyed the challenge of trying new techniques.
